 | We were on vacation in Negril, staying at the Bourbon Beach Resort. At around 7pm we went downstairs to have dinner at the resort, after eating Jesse stated that he was going upstairs to the room for a few because he wasn't feeling well. After a few minutes, I kept wondering where was he. I messaged him and ask if he was okay, he replied 'no I'm not, come here.' I panicked and ran up the stairs to the room.
When I arrived at the room, I noticed there was a sticky pad on the door; I read the note it stated "read what is on the laptop." I opened the door and walked over to the laptop, it was a webpage built for me with our pictures and titled "The Old Fashioned Love." At the bottom of the webpage there was instruction telling me to read the letter on the pillow. While reading the letter, I felt nervous, happy, mushy and so loved. At the bottom of the letter it stated to follow the arrows (treasure hunting I thought to myself lol), at first I was looking for the arrows on the wall but could not find it. After a few moments, I felt something under my right foot, it was a sticky pad with an arrow, I followed the arrow and the next and the next and the next...it lead me to the balcony.
To my surprise, Jesse was on his knee with a ring box in his hand (OMG!!!)! There was a lit candle on the table, there was romantic music playing in the background, I could hear the waves of the sea and the view was so beautiful. I thought to myself is this really happening? (all of these observations and thought happened in seconds lol). He said, 'I love you so much, I just want to be with you for the rest of my life, will you marry me?' My answer: 'Really? Really? Really?' (lol) and then 'OF COURSE, YES!!' He placed the beautiful ring on my finger (PERFECT SIZE!). We shared one of the most passionate kiss afterwards. I was so happy in that moment, in that time the feeling was unexplainable. |
