Stephanie and Jeff first met in the summer of 2006 at the Silver Peak Brewery. It was a large gathering and their first encounter didn't amount to more than a handshake and some pleasantries. In September of that year they met again at a going away party for Ryan as he was about to head out for Antarctica, well... actually the party only consisted of four people. Steph and Jeff hit it off and bonded over blackjack, martinis, casino Asian food, and a long conversation that lasted way into the night while Steph's friend Jen pretended to sleep in the back of the car. Within the week the two began dating and by November they were what the old folks like to say, "going steady."

          By summer of 2007 Jeff presumptuously asked Steph to move in with him since her lease was up and Jeff's roommates were moving out. Thankfully she decided to move in. In August the two set off for Europe on a month long romp that took them through Belgium, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Italy. It was in Munich after a night of drinking at the legendary Haufbrau Haus with a few traveling friends that the two realized that marriage was likely in their futures.

          In December Jeff took Steph to Zozo's Italian restaurant where after a great meal the wait staff brought out a surpise dessert topped with a diamond ring. In front of all the patrons Jeff got on one knee and asked Stephanie to be his wife.

          Since then the two have been working hard to prepare for the wedding and are looking forward to celebrating their marriage with their family and friends. They will also be very glad when it's all over and they are drinking pina coladas on a private beach in Jamaica.
