Gregg and Lauren met at a fraternity party in 2004. They became friends and casually dated in 2005.  Their first date was at Formaggios. Lauren was so shy that she barely said a word, and therefore was nicknamed a "mute" by Gregg. That didn't go over so well, and it certainly did not help Lauren become more talkative. Despite the awkward silence, Lauren and Gregg had a strong connection and remained friends for many years. In 2010 they decided the timing was just right to give dating a second chance. The rest is history!
