Lauren is the daughter of Mark and Suzanne Ulm. Lauren was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2002 Lauren and her family moved to Chesterfield, Missouri and she became a student at Parkway Central high school. Lauren graduated with honors and ran track and crosscountry for her high school. Lauren moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 2004 to attend UAB. She became a member of Alpha Omicron Pi her freshman year.  Lauren graduated from UAB in 2009 with a BS in Communication Studies and a concentration in public relations. 

Gregg is the son of Jeff and Teri Blackman. He is from Oxford, Alabama and graduated Oxford High School in 2002.  Gregg played baseball, basketball, and football for Oxford High School. Gregg started UAB in 2002 and joined Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He graduated from UAB with a bachelors degree in criminal justice.

Gregg is currently employed with the Montgomery Police Department and continues to play baseball in his spare time.
